Description
I was just on my way home and noticed this Short-eared Owl sitting at the bottom of our neighbours field. I pulled over and moved over to the passenger seat, so I didn't spook the owl. I sat and watched it for some time, as it shifted its head side to side, looking and listening for mice. It then flew off the post it was sitting on and flew to a power pole right above the truck. I was not expecting it to come in so close to me, but was very grateful.
